Praising Him in Song

“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is true worship.” Romans 12:1 (TNIV)

A message from the Worship Team: As we plan for the Sunday worship service, our motivation is not to entertain or perform for the congregation. Although we strive for excellence, the purpose for doing so is to serve the church, helping others encounter the living God in a meaningful way through the best of current worship music and traditional hymns. Some may even be set to new rhythms and tunes, but still familiar.

We often make use of songs by popular artists and employ a variety of instruments, from acoustic to electric to bass guitars, drums, keyboards, and others.

If you are interested in serving the Redeemer church family as vocalist, instrumentalist or in a small group ensemble, contact Tom Trautman or the church office.

Using Our Gifts

“Each person is given something to do that shows who God is: Everyone gets in on it, everyone benefits. All kinds of things are handed out by the Spirit, and to all kinds of people!” 1 Corinthians 12:6-7 (The Message)

What if you don’t sing or play an instrument? Can you still be involved in Redeemer’s worship services? The answer is “Absolutely!” There are many potential ways to contribute. For instance, if you have an interest in drama, painting, or poetry, or if you have computer skills or knowledge of sound equipment or video production, we would love to hear from you.

Contact Tom Trautman or the church office for information on how to participate.
