Studying God’s Perspective for our Lives
4-week class beginning April 21 | “Following Christ Into Witness”
- Sundays April 21, 28, May 12, 19 | 11:15 a.m. | Meeting Room
- Facilitated by Rick Mattson from InterVarsity Christian Fellowship
We have an exciting opportunity for all young people and adults as Rick Mattson will help us as a church grow in our desire to be more invitational for Jesus Christ.
Leading us in the topic “Following Christ Into Witness,” here is what Rick will be teaching us:
- Have you ever wished you could witness to others in a more natural way that fits your personality and gifts?
- Do you have a fear of not knowing how to respond to hard questions and objections to the faith?
- Would you like to become a better “inviter” to church and other spiritual events?
- We’ll work on fresh ways to think about witness, plus provide practical tools that will help us engage in Spirit-led conversations on a regular basis.
Our teacher Rick Mattson serves as a traveling evangelist/apologist for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship and is author of “Faith is Like Skydiving,” “Faith Unexpected,” and “Witness in the Academy.” He also serves part-time as a philosophy professor at the University of Northwestern, St. Paul, Minnesota. He is married to Sharon, and they have two kids and seven grandchildren.
