An Attitude Of Gratitude

From the Wednesday, November 26, 2025, Redeemer Covenant Resource e-newsletter to the congregation:

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, his love endures forever (Psalm 107:1). The psalmist teaches us to give thanks to the Lord. Are you a thankful person? Are you thankful to the Lord every day for what he has done for us? Give thanks to the Lord, not only on Thanksgiving Day, but every day, because God’s love for you endures forever!

One helpful way to develop a spirit of thankfulness is what some call “Gratitude Practice.” Each day over the next week, ask yourself or others, “What blessings (hidden or in plain view) have I experienced from God in 2025?” What a wonderful question for us to contemplate, as we seek to grow in thankfulness and gratitude to God, regardless of our circumstances or situation, because God is good to us. We don’t have to look any further than Jesus Christ to understand this truth.

As we recount and recall blessings and the good things of God, we can rejoice and we can reach out and tell others of God’s blessings. We are choosing to be grateful people. So, let’s foster an attitude of gratitude together, remembering to be thankful to God for who he is and what he has done for us.

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, his love endures forever (Psalm 107:1).
